This family cable takes its name from the material that covers them (outer sheath), that is to say, polyurethane.
The main feature of this halogen-free material is good resistance to water, tear-resistant properties and great strength to the oils and fats. Must be mentioned, excellent endurance to the solvents. Furthermore, it has potential in terms of resistance to microbes and abrasion. Our PUR control cables are very robust!
Pur cables turn out to be an excellent ally in the case of extreme applications or those subject to considerable mechanical stress.

What is the main difference between Pur cables and PVC cables?
PVC cables are commonly used in the heavy and food industries and for applications in very humid environments. For this reason, it is easy to understand how these cables have good resistance to wet but are not suitable in environments with overly aggressive plenty of oil and fat. Compared to the PUR cables, PVC cables offer lower resistance to mechanical stress, and they have good strength to chemicals and detergents.

YSLC11Y JZ/OZ 300/500V: Suitable for working in contact with oil, on shaping machines and transfer lines with standard mechanical stress. Outdoor use is allowed if the temperature range is respected.
Ideal for measurement and control. To be installed on industrial equipment and shaping machines.
YSLYC11Y JZ/OZ 300/500V: Screened cable suitable for signalling and control, installed inside proper pipes and protected ducts. Polyurethane outer sheath for heavy use.
Buried laying is not allowed.
YSL11Y JB/OB YELLOW 300/500V: Suitable for signalling and control, installed inside proper pipes and protected ducts. Polyurethane outer sheath for heavy use. Buried laying is not allowed.
